ERT Trailside Headquarters Grand Opening & Celebrate Trails Day (Norfolk)

FreeThis year’s Celebrate Trails Day is a BIG one for the Elizabeth River Trail 
For the first time ever, we’re opening the doors to our brand-new Trailside Headquarters and we’re celebrating with a full lineup of activities, experiences and community fun.
Our Trailside HQ for the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation represents nearly 10 years of community support, growth, and momentum. It gives our designated National Recreation Trail a permanent home right along the path it serves, and creates a space where programs, partnerships, and community connections can continue to grow.
Join us for a family-friendly, fun-filled event:
8:30 am – Donation-based yoga with Bhav Brigade (on the green space by Fergus Reid Tennis Center)
9:30 am – Official ERT HQ Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
10:30 am – Botanical Tour with Norfolk Master Gardeners
11:00 am – Vibe ‘N Roll with Rollbounce Rollout (all non-motorized wheels welcome! Skateboards, roller blades, etc.)

Celebrate Trails Day is part of a nationwide movement led by Rails to Trails Conservancy. This event is a dedicated day to getting outside, connecting with your community, and celebrating the power of trails.
The Elizabeth River Trail exists because of our community! Our neighbors, partners, and supporters created this amazing trail because they believed in creating something lasting for Norfolk. Let’s celebrate this exciting next chapter together!
This event is FREE and open to the public. No registration required. Show up and enjoy the day!
