Learn how researchers investigate and search for solutions to the global concern of invasive species during this free lecture, presented by Dr. Nancy DeFord. Today, thousands of species are entering environments where they do not belong, and threatening biodiversity in our oceans. Dr. Stephanie Green, Associate Professor at University of Alberta, will highlight the issues of invasive species and share the innovative ways communities are dealing with the challenge – from designing robots to creating cookbooks.
