Clay Trinket Dish Workshop at Starving Artist Studio (Newport News)

Join us for an enjoyable session where you can create your very own clay trinket dish! Personalize your masterpiece using an assortment of stamps and tools. Choose one of our specialty glaze options that will beautifully finish your piece once it’s fired. This class is perfect for everyone, from beginners to experts! We will have a few different shape options to choose from!
This workshop is $35 for square or round shapes, $40 for medium oval, or $45 for larger forms and has a non-refundable $10 deposit that goes towards the price of your piece. This workshop is only for trinket dishes! If you have worked with clay before and would like to work freestyle, please see our creative clay listing!
On the day of the workshop, you will create your clay masterpiece! It will then be air-dried before undergoing the first firing in the kiln. After that, we will apply your chosen specialty glaze and fire it once more. You can expect to receive a call to pick up your dish in approximately two weeks.
