Classical Education Showcase: Wonders of the Wild: Literature, Nature, and Art at James City County Library (Williamsburg)
April 27 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
FreeExperience classical education as presented by Highlands Latin Cottage School Williamsburg, a homeschool hybrid school. Please note the recommended audience for each session, however students of all ages and abilities are encouraged to attend. Each session requires a separate online registration.
Designed for our youngest scholars, this session focuses on observation and wonder. We will pair the children’s classic Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile with the scientific facts of Gail Gibbons’ Alligators and Crocodiles. The session will also include a themed craft and a guided “picture study” of Pieter Bruegel’s famous painting, Children’s Games.
Registration is required; recommended for grades K-2+.
