Christmas Diaper Giveaway (Chesapeake)

The Holiday Dad Diaper Giveaway kicks off Saturday, Dec. 20, in Chesapeake. This is the second time the Fatherhood Foundation of Virginia has held the event in Hampton Roads. It’s in collaboration with the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation.
Every dad who shows up, with his children, will receive one box of diapers for free. Diaper sizes range from newborn to 6. This year, volunteers plan to hand out even more diapers!
“Last year, the event started at 9 a.m. We had people in the parking lot at 7 a.m. waiting in line for these diapers. It was cold and they were still waiting, and unfortunately, we ran out after an hour. This year, we actually are doubling the amount of diapers that we’re getting. So, we’re going to be giving out 250 plus boxes, over 40,000 diapers to dads in our community,” said Chris Beach, Fatherhood Foundation of Virginia CEO.
The Holiday Dad Diaper Giveaway will be held outside the Lifestyle Health and Fitness Center at Chesapeake Regional. Important reminder: Only dads will be given diapers.
