Birds in the City (Virginia Beach)

Discover a variety of interesting birds that spend the winter in Virginia Beach on this introductory bird walk around Mount Trashmore Park. Even in the heart of the city, a surprising number of birds may be found in this urban park. We will walk the paved paths around the park, primarily focusing on observing its two lakes.
Binoculars will be available for loan and your guide will teach you how to use them. No previous birding experience is needed.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress in layers appropriate for the winter weather.
Recommended for anyone interested in giving birding a try or just simply wishing to spend a morning outdoors connecting with nature. age 13+
