As part of the global City Nature Challenge, this exciting event invites YOU to help document local wildlife right here in Newport News – in just one hour!
Join us on Saturday, April 25 for two BioBlitz sessions following the Insects & Friends program. Whether you’re a nature lover, photographer, or just looking for a fun outdoor activity, this is the perfect way to connect with nature and your community.
What You’ll Do:Take photos of plants, insects, animals, and more around the Discovery Center and upload them to the CNC 2026: Newport News project using the iNaturalist app.

• 3 PM – 4 PM
