Beginner Paddle at Oak Grove Lake Park (Chesapeake)

$25 – $35Join us for a relaxing beginner’s paddle at Oak Grove Park. This paddle is slow paced and great for paddlers who would like to glide on the water paddling near the park. This will also be a great opportunity for some bird watching and nature photography. Feel free to bring a waterproof camera or a waterproof bag for your phone.
For ages 13+. Ages 13-15 must be in a tandem kayak with an adult. Ages 16+ can be on the water in an single kayak with parents registered/present.
Cost is $25 per single kayak and $35 per tandem (double) kayak which includes all of your equipment (kayak, paddle and life vest). This reservation is for 1 person and reserves a single sit on top kayak. Tandem: up to 425 lbs combined
We recommend that you bring:
Bottled water
Moisture wicking clothing
Water shoes or closed toes shoes (Flip flops are discouraged)
And a change of clothing in case needed
