Bat Bay at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge (Virginia Beach)

Have you ever seen bats flying around your neighborhood? A variety of species live in our area. Figuring out which species are flying by is very challenging. During Bat Bay we use a device that identifies bats by their high frequency calls. We also discuss the types of bats that live in the 757 and how we can help these flying mammals.
There is no charge for this program and no charge to enter the parking area where this program is located
