Annual Lunchtime Bike Ride (Portsmouth)

May 15 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Annual Lunchtime Bike Ride takes place in May as a part of National Bike Month. It’s a reminder to get outside and get some exercise now that the weather is turning warmer. It’s a two mile ride around Olde Towne and Park View giving riders a chance to meet other riders and to enjoy Portsmouth’s one-of-a-kind waterfront views and historic homes.

The Lunchtime Bike Ride is a Healthy Portsmouth Initiative sponsored by:

  • Department of Parks and Recreation
  • Planning Department
  • Portsmouth Police Department
  • The ride starts at the Portsmouth Pavillion, proceeds through Olde Towne, and returns to the Pavilion. Riders aged 15 and younger are required to wear bicycle helmets by state and city laws.
  • Next Ride: Friday, May 15, 2026, noon until 1 pm
