Animals in Winter at Newport News Park (Newport News)

When temperatures drop and winter sets in – how can all those different kinds of animals survive? Be on the move for milder climates, or stay and “tough it out”? Sleep through the winter, or stay active and busy? In this program we’ll explore some of the amazing ways animals (and some plants!) adapt to the changing of the seasons.
Join us to learn about ‘Animals in Winter’ on January 17th at 11 AM and 2 PM at the Discovery Center located in Newport News Park.
