A Farewell to Parks Avenue: Community Celebration at Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (Virginia Beach)

Be part of Virginia MOCA history on the final day that our Parks Avenue building will be open to the public. For 37 years, this space has been home to thousands of exhibitions, programs, and memories that have shaped our community. Join us as we celebrate its final chapter before moving to our new home on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan University.
Experience artist demos, pop-up talks with Where We Meet artists, and exhibition-inspired activities throughout the day. Doodlefest will take over the Museum with an all-day interactive art experience, and visitors can also enjoy the closing reception of Prisms: Art Camp Exhibition 2025, celebrating the creativity of our youngest artists. On-site food and beverage options will be available.
