February 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for a powerful evening of reflection and celebration as we explore the depth of Black excellence and the ongoing journey toward freedom and opportunity.
Supported by the Virginia African American Cultural Center (VAACC) and hosted at Virginia Wesleyan University, this program brings history and art to life through:
A captivating Frederick Douglass reenactment by Nathan Richardson
Moving spoken word and music performances
Stunning visual art and student scholarship displays
Come be inspired by the “sustained moral pressure” that continues to shape our nation. This event is free and open to the community!
