Winter Carnival in Newport News Virginia

A FREE winter event full of family fun coming up in Newport News, don’t miss the Winter Carnival!

Where: Former Kmart site, 401 Oriana Road, Newport News VA

When: The winter carnival is Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 12-5pm

Weekend Skating Rink is open Friday-Saturday-Sunday, February 2-4, 2024.

  • Friday 4-8 pm.
  • Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.

Cost: Free admission, Free parking

Description: Join us from Noon – 5 pm for some “frozen” fun as Newport News Parks & Recreation celebrates with a Winter Carnival! Centered around a 4000+ square foot synthetic ice rink, the event will feature two exhilarating carnival rides, games, inflatables and more! Parking and admission is free to all.

Food vendors will be on-site selling delicious food and tasty treats.
