Winter Break Fun: The Annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count

Audubon’s 122nd Christmas Bird Count will take place this winter between the dates of Tuesday, December 14, 2021 through Wednesday, January 5, 2022.

What is the Christmas Bird Count?

The Christmas Bird Count is an early-winter bird census, where thousands of volunteers across the country, and in many other parts of the world, go outside over a 24 hour period on one calendar day to count birds.

Where can you participate?
