Adaptive Dance for All is a program for children and adults of all ages in an inclusive atmosphere. This program serves any mental or physical disabilities to develop social skills, independence, motor learning, and verbal proficiency. Programs are offered throughout the year.

Therapeutic horseback riding program for individuals who have mental, physical, emotional, social or learning disabling conditions.
Summer programs are available for both the therapeutic riding participants and an inclusion camp open to the public. Campers must be able to follow verbal directions, have an interest in learning about horses and horse care, and be toilet trained. Each day campers will receive both mounted riding and ground lessons in order to learn proper horsemanship while having tons of fun! The camp will help to build positive relationships with fellow campers, equines, staff, and counselors.

The FACT Resource Center in Virginia Beach provides a supportive and nurturing environment through collaborating, cooperating, and cohabitating of multiple local programs serving the autism community. On-site resources include the Factivity hall, board room, gymnasium, sensory gym, and quiet room. Space is available for programming, parties and special events (contact FACT for additional information).
Hampton Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Services Therapeutic Recreation division provides specialized services for individuals with disabilities in Hampton. Therapeutic recreation activities may include swimming classes, craft classes, trips, camps, adult programs, special events, and varied offerings every season. Our participant-to-staff ratio is appropriate to the needs of the group.
In addition, we provide accommodations upon request for individuals with disabilities in our general recreation programs. The Therapeutic Recreation staff will work with participants, parents/guardians, and staff to help ensure an enjoyable recreation experience. Advanced notice for any requests for accommodations are welcome.
