Infant Swim Self Rescue Survival Swimming Lessons

Swimming Lessons for all ages: babies 6 months and up. Toddlers, children, teens and adults who have a fear of the water or Triathletes who desire to shave time off their swim.
Private, semi-private and create your own "custom group" lessons are available. Travel to your location (Chesapeake and Virginia Beach) is available with an additional travel fee.

Youth Swim Team

Year round competitive swim team for ages 5 and up with practice locations in Chesapeake, Suffolk, and Virginia Beach.

Learning to swim can be an overwhelming task for adults and children. We offer a curriculum geared towards the needs of the individual. No matter the age or skill set, we can help.

Swimming at the Y helps people thrive—in and out of the water. Swim lessons provide kids and teens with the opportunity to set goals and achieve success, learn water safety and enjoy swimming as a form of exercise. Through swimming lessons, swim teams, lap swimming and more, the YMCA of the South Hampton Roads provides a safe environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.
