4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

Ambleside Cooperative of Hampton Roads is a unique homeschooling experience in Virginia Beach. A community of Christian homeschool families guided by the Charlotte Mason philosophy of education. Global Christian Co-Op is a Christian program offering a variety of subjects with the goal of raising up well-rounded kids who are passionate for Jesus.

The approach for learning will be creative, hands-on, interactive, and will elicit group discussion and group activity, along with incorporating elements of Charlotte Mason in the areas of short subject lessons, and nature studies.

Summer programs in Spanish for children are offered at the co-op and in a local park.

Grace Homeschool cooperative is a homeschool group in the Virginia Beach, VA area. We are a true cooperative with moms volunteering to teach, we are welcoming to all and hope to offer our kids the friendships that schools offer as they have fun and learn.

Come join our club and grow your leadership skills by planning and organizing field trips and volunteer opportunities. The sky is the limit for whatever the teens can plan as a group and we will guide them with the steps it takes to lead and organize events. Membership in the group will require attendance at our weekly meeting, participation at planned events, and following through on responsibilities. Adult leadership and support are 100% provided.
