4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

An instructional hub for STEM learning driven by team building and collaboration allowing opportunities for students and people of all ages, abilities, and disciplines to learn by designing creative solutions to real-world problems.
Open Makerspace: Biweekly program that allows community members to use our makerspace equipment to complete their own projects.
Family Makerspace Program: Monthly program that allows families with kids of all ages to explore STEAM in a fun and hands-on way!
Summer Camps: Hands-on experiences for children of all ages related to STEAM.
Field Trip Opportunities: Various STEAM experiences available for schools and other youth organizations.
What is CHIPSoccer?
CHIPSoccer is a cooperative Christian homeschool soccer club where one adult from each family volunteers in a role on the field. We will potentially play in three fields: McReynolds Athletic Complex in Newport News, Warhill Sports Complex in Williamsburg, and a third location to be determined. We will have all games and practices on Wednesdays from 1:00pm-3:00pm. All your children will be able to play at the same time and at the same park. Each week you will either practice at your home field, play an away game at one of the other two fields, or host a game at your field. At the end of the season we will have a Field Day where all three fields will play against each other at one park.
Primary volunteer jobs include field coordinator, coach, assistant coach, team mom coordinator, team mom, babysitter coordinator, babysitter and equipment manager. Training is provided during the first week of practice.
CHIPSoccer is available to homeschooled children ages 4-18. We will have a Fall and Spring season each year. Fall registration begins early-August. The official 1st day of practice begins mid-September and lasts through mid- November. Spring registration begins mid-March. The official 1st day of practice begins mid-March and lasts through mid-May.
Dance classes ages 18 mos and up. Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Mommy & Me, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Homeschool Class. Summer camps available.

The Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs at Fort Eustis include programs for all ages. Programs for children (offered seasonally) include dance, youth sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball, cheerleading, fun runs, and robotics. Summer camps available.

This group is for homeschool military families stationed at Joint Base Langley Eustis or surrounding areas. This group is to be used for support, sharing of ideas, planning activities, and encouragement.

The Torggler offers art classes for adults and youths, year-round. During the school year, classes for youths are typically offered on Saturdays. The Torggler offers four seasons of changing classes. Current and upcoming classes, as well as registration information, can be found on the Torggler's website. Summer Camps available.
Montessori in Nature is an inclusive outdoor playgroup & co-op inspired by the Montessori philosophy, Forrest school, and respectful parenting. They meet outdoors on Mondays at 10:30am as well as one Saturday a month. They also occasionally have field trips and park play dates on Fridays. This group is designed for ages birth- six but siblings are welcome. They hold play-date meet-ups, hikes, and various nature adventures on and around the peninsula.
Several different storytimes available for children ages birth to age 5. Some programs do require registration.
Activities, Events, and Storytimes
A virtual meeting place for all homeschool events and coop classes for the Williamsburg and Peninsula areas in VA, USA, for homeschoolers to hold inclusive academic and social events, clubs, and classes for small or large groups.
PCHC meets bi-monthly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month. Our group is run solely by parents volunteering (this is not a drop off group). There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee (which includes covering the cost of a background check). Each semester there will be a per student (minimal) supply fee as well. Other activities such as field trips and moms nights out will be held as well.

SAGE and PAGE, an incorporated and non-profit 501-c3 organization, has been serving Hampton Roads' families for nearly two decades. We are a Christian co-op that upholds a traditional Christian worldview and uses the Bible as our standard of truth.
SEEDS is a parent-led, Christian co-op that meets one day a week on Tuesdays. We are located in Newport News and we are a ministry of Menchville Baptist Church. We have four 7-week sessions through the year. Parents and/or guardians are expected to participate by helping in classes, teaching, and signing up for two end of day or event planning duties and snacks throughout the year. SEEDS is not a drop-off co-op.
