The Hampton Roads Chess Association (HRCA) is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to bringing the benefits of chess to people of all ages and abilities across our region. Serving youth and adult competitive chess players, schools, the handicapped, the elderly, veterans, and Scouts. Ongoing chess programs, instruction, groups and Summer camps available.

Suffolk Public Library

Free Library Programs and Services. Storytimes, Classes and Workshops available to the community. Homeschool classes and programs are available.

Over 90 exciting camps will be offered in the summer of 2026! Sessions begin the week of June 16 and run through the week of August 17 for ten weeks of camps offered on five campuses at Tidewater Community College! Register now to take advantage of the Early Bird Discount until May 31, 2026. Scholarships are available by application.
