4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

Coastal Broadway Collaborative (CBC) is a three-week musical theatre summer intensive. CBC’s innovative musical theatre intensive is a one of a kind pre-professional training program for aspiring theater and musical theater performers ages 10-19. Accepted by audition only.

The Hurrah Players new programming through The Nusbaum Family TV & Film Academy will operate as a complement to the Hugh R. Copeland Performing Arts Academy. Designed specifically for middle and high school students, our academy offers a comprehensive and fun curriculum that blends creative development with technical expertise, ensuring a well-rounded and diverse education in the arts of television and film production. TLC PUPPET WORKSHOPS INC is a 501c3 non-profit organization that teaches, learns, and creates the arts for communities that otherwise could not experience them.

Virginia Stage offers Educational Matinees, In-School Tours, Workshops, Residencies, Stagedoor and Summer Camp Programs. They also hold family friendly performances throughout the year.
