4-H is the youth (ages 5 to 19) development education program of Virginia Cooperative Extension. 4-H is rich with learning experiences where young people partner with caring adults and volunteers in a fellowship unlike any other program available to youth today. During the summer, 4-H offers a range of day and residential (overnight) camps.

Dance ages 2 1/2 and up: Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap. Beginner Gymnastics, Tumble Cheer, Gymnastics and Musical Theater.

Inspiring students to explore their unique voices, embrace diverse perspectives, and develop their artistic and personal potential through the power of the theatre!

The Newport News Summer Institute for the Arts offers an intensive six-week program in dance, theatre arts, music, and visual arts each summer. The Summer Institute for the Arts is intended for rising 8th grade through rising 12th grade students.
