Coming up as a local, online event – The Black & Brown Maternal Health Summit:

Where: Online via Zoom (registration required)

When: September 22, 2021 from 10am-12pm.

Cost: Free

Registration: To register email homevisiting@theupcenter.org by September 16th.

About: This summit is for current and expecting mothers, healthcare and birth workers, Home Visiting Programs and public school representatives to discuss the disparities surrounding women of color. Presenters will talk about safe practice measures, birthing resources and education, mental health assistance and postpartum care.

Conversations include:
– Doula Support
– Maternal Perinatal & Postpartum Mental Health
– Birth Rights & Procedures
– Breast Feeding Education
– Community Resources
