Reminder! Brooks Crossing Makerspace Family Nights

Free Family Fun in Newport News! Brooks Crossing is opening up its space for your family to explore STEM-based learning.

Where: Brooks Crossing, 550 30th Street, Suites 101 & 102, Newport News VA 23607

Cost: Free! Let them know you’re coming – Register Here.

When: Upcoming dates are August 10, 17, & 24, 2023.

  • August 10: Code a robot (Best for grades 3-8) Families will work together to code a robot! We will have robots for beginner coders as well as robots for more experienced robots!
  • August 17: Littles and STEM (Best for PreK-Grade 2) Families can move through STEM stations that will engage their little ones!
  • August 24: Teen Night (Best for ages 12-18) Build a beat with your teen, create a 3D design to be printed, or practice some graphic design and product creation!
