Adoptable Family Dog of the Week – Lochness!

My family is a dog family and I couldn’t imagine our household without our dog Oscar as a part of it. There are so many dogs in shelters in Hampton Roads, we wanted to bring you a featured “Adoptable Dog of the Week” to try and showcase these great dogs and help them find their FURever homes- possibly even as a part of Your Active Family!

This week we bring you a sweet girl named Lochness! Please share with other animal loving families who may be just the right fit for Lochness’s FURever home!

Lochness - Adoptable Family Dog of the Week!

Description: Hello, my name is Lochness. I’m only a year old and I’m a shy little lady, but I really do want to learn how to make friends. I have heard it is pretty awesome because they give cuddles, food, and toys. I do great with other dogs and have actually started learning about how nice people can be with the help of my doggy friends here.

With a patient family, I will learn to come out of my shell even more. I need someone to help me build my confidence and teach me to trust. I am ready to have a home to call my own.

To find out more about Lochness and set up a time to visit with her you can visit http://norfolkspca.org/ or call (757) 622-3319 and ask for her by name!

Please note: All information available about dogs featured in this post indicate that he/she is good with children and would be a great family dog. However, each dog is different and we can not guarantee that all the information available is accurate and will apply to all family dynamics. If you see a dog you are interested in adopting please go visit them at the shelter to get an in-person feel for how the dog will fit in as a member of your family!
