Description: A Tale for Two is an extension of the VBSPCA Listening Ears Program, which pairs a young reader (ages 6-13) with an animal to make reading more fun. By bringing readers into the shelter, adoptable cats and dogs get the benefit of a calm, positive presence, and confidence goes up for the pet and the child both.
