13th Annual Toys for Tots Thanksgiving Day 5K/10K Race

If you are looking for a fun family tradition that benefits others consider registering the family for the 13th Annual Toys for Tots Thanksgiving Day 5K/10K Race!

The Race takes place Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24th, 2011) at The Mariners’ Museum Park.

This is a family friendly 5K fun event and a competitive 10K running event (as well as a Kid’s 100 Yard Dash with the Marines) over the paved roads of the Mariners’ Museum property- the out and back run stretches along a paved road lined with crepe myrtles, across Lion’s Bridge and onto the main Museum Drive. This race is the kickoff event for the local Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign; all participants are encourged to donate a new, unwrapped toy on the morning of the race.

Schedule of Events:

5K Run/Walk – 8:30AM

10K Run – 9:45 AM

Kids Marine Corps Dash 10AM
