What’s Edible in the Forest? (Virginia Beach)
September 28 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
$45This foraging “walk in the woods” is led by author Vickie Shufer, author of The Forager’s Handbook and The Everything Guide to Foraging. Vickie, a naturalist and herbalist, will take guests on a magical tour of a mature upland forest with native trees, shrubs, and wildflowers. Leaves will be changing colors, fall fruits ripening, and mosses and ferns popping out at every corner. Find out what is and what is not edible, and learn about the role these native plants play in our daily lives.
