Summer Reading Kick-Off at Grissom Library (Newport News)

Our Summer Reading Kick-off event on Tuesday, June 13 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. is sure to be an exciting and fun-filled day for everyone. Here are some additional details you may find helpful:
- The Teeny Tiny Farm will bring a variety of animals that everyone will be able to interact with (11 a.m.-12 p.m.).
- Our DJ will be playing a mix of popular music that all can enjoy and dance to.
- We will have games available for youth and adults to play.
- Popcorn will be provided for all attendees to munch on while they enjoy the event.
- Pelican’s Snoballs will be serving up delicious shaved ice in a variety of flavors to help cool everyone off on what is sure to be a sunny day.
This event is a great opportunity for youth, adults, and the family to come together and celebrate the start of summer and the joy of reading. We hope to see you there!
