Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and we are resuming our ‘Story and a Walk’ programs again! Bring your young “nature lover in training” to Newport News Park’s Discovery Center for our monthly nature story reading. Each month we’ll have a new picture storybook about animals and their adventures in nature. It’s a great introduction or reinforcement for your children’s reading and learning skills. Following the story will be a guided walk (weather permitting).
Join us on the second Wednesday of every month starting in March and going through October for a ‘Story and a Walk’. Happening at 10 AM at the Discovery Center located in Newport News Park.
