Sewing 101 Basics Series Workshop (Chesapeake)
Welcome to Sewing 101! In 1.5 hour, this beginner-friendly workshop will cover all the basics and have you stitching up something stylish! Our skilled team is here to guide you step-by-step as you create a simple project (just don’t be surprised if you end up making way more than one!). Get ready to get creative, and don’t forget to have fun!
The class is offered for three weeks, however, you may take as little as one class or all three. If you do not wish to take all three please select DROP IN and the dates you wish to attend.

- Class One we will go over the parts of a sewing machine, fabrics, different stitches and how to sew straight lines. We will complete a simple project.
- Class Two we will expand on our knowledge from Class One and will further our exploration of stitches and fabrics and learn about zigzag stitches, casings and working with elastic.
- Class Three we will further expand our knowledge from Classes One and Two and will explore the world of zippers.
We are limited in size to allow for adequate one-to-one instruction. Age 8+
Class supplies will be provided, if you have a sewing machine of your own you are welcome to bring it. No skills required.
