Sea Turtle Discovery at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge (Virginia Beach)
Virginia is the northernmost area where sea turtles consistently nest. During this four-hour day camp program we will learn about the diets, unique characteristics, and how to identify the various sea turtles that visit Virginia. Be prepared for walks on the beach, crafts, and games!
Open to ages 5-10. Call (757) 301-7329 ext. 3106 to sign up! Event takes place at 4005 Sandpiper Road at the Visitor Center. Come down the entrance road after passing the fee booth. Entrance fee ($5 per vehicle) applies unless you have a pass or are hiking/biking through.
