Preservation Virginia Homeschool Days at Cape Henry Lighthouse (Virginia Beach)

Preservation Virginia invites homeschooling families to dedicated visit days at our historic sites this spring. Students will be able to participate in guided tours, scavenger hunts, outdoor and STEAM explorations, historical inquiry activities, hands-on demonstrations, make-n-take crafts and more. April 24th, 10am-2pm: Cape Henry Lighthouse
Cape Henry Lighthouse is located on an active military base. All guests must proceed through Fort Story’s secure entrance and ride a provided shuttle down to the lighthouse. Additionally, please note that in order to climb the lighthouse tower, all guests must be 42″ tall. Infants or young children cannot be carried up the tower.
