FreeLINK of Hampton Roads and Tradition Brewing Company is excited to bring back the LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR BLOCK PARTY. This family-friendly event entrusts our community with a variety of free entertainment in efforts to raise charitable funds to provide Food, Clothing, and Emergency Services to men, women, and children who don’t have access to their basic needs and find themselves in housing crisis or other emergency situations.

Partake in the neighborhood pie-eating contest or enjoy a delicious meal from a selection of Food Trucks.
Live Music
The EarthTones 2pm-3pm
The EarthTones are a 7-piece rock band who delight in bringing back memories of the 1960s and 70s with their energetic shows. Sing along, dance, or just enjoy timeless classics from the likes of Buddy Holly, the Temptations, and Van Morrison.
DOG Street Boys 4pm-7pm
The DOG Street boys are made up of local educators who get to keep their day jobs and jam to some great music on the side. Their sets have included Ben Lee, Dave Matthews, Counting Crows, Van Morrison, Joe Jackson, The Allman Brothers, The Lumineers, Cheap Trick, Bryan Adams, John Mayer, Squeeze, Joe Walsh, The Violent Femmes, Rick Springfield, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones and many more.

LINK of Hampton Roads is the largest homeless services provider on the Virginia Peninsula. LINK assists in providing emergency services through their work with many programs:
>>PORT Winter Shelter
>>CANLINK Permanent Supportive Housing
>>Veterans Emergency Shelter
>>Emergency Services Center
Achievements include:
- Over 650 homeless individuals served at PORT in 2023. 93 Children under 18 served in 2023
- CANLINK permanent Supportive housing currently houses 84 previously homeless clients
- Emergency Services has provided Resources to 3,489 People this FY. 1,299 of those are children
- VETERANS: Link has served over 100 veterans between it’s program this year.
- $86,068 + Food and Clothing to those in need
- The Port Winter Shelter has seen a 46% increase in clients served in 2023
