Incredible Insects at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge (Virginia Beach)

FreeDid you know there are over 800,000 species of insects on Earth? This diversity means there are many interesting and incredible traits found in this group of animals. In this program we will investigate insects through games and other hands-on activities such as dip netting and scavenger hunts!
Open to ages 7-12. Call (757) 301-7329 ext. 3106 to sign up! Event takes place at 4005 Sandpiper Road at the Visitor Center. Come down the entrance road after passing the fee booth. Entrance fee ($5 per vehicle) applies unless you have a pass or are hiking/biking through.
