Homeschool Enrichment: Children’s Museum of Virginia at James City County Library (Williamsburg)
January 24 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
FreeLibrary learners will discover something new every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from this series of enrichment programs for kids in grades K-5. Pick up a ticket at the children’s desk starting 30 minutes before the program to reserve your spot.
This month, educators from the Children’s Museum of Virginia will present two grade-level specific programs:
2 p.m. Life Cycles in Nature: Act out the life of a tree. Dance like a honeybee. Learn about the life cycles of all kinds of organisms—from plants to animals to creepy crawlies. For kids in grades K-2.
2:45 p.m. Engineering Workshop: Students refine their engineering skills and deepen their knowledge of the engineering and design progress in this expanded workshop. Challenges are posed and students investigate solutions, make observation and review results. For kids in grades 3-5.
