Little Hands, Big Difference Volunteer Opportunity

A great volunteer event the entire family can participate in! The Junior League of Norfolk-Virginia Beach normally holds a volunteer event open to little ones around Thanksgiving, but this year it is in Spring, and you can participate from home!

Where: At home

When: Beginning April 28, 2021. On April 28 from 12-2 p.m., JLNVB will be distributing packets of literacy-based volunteer activities to be placed in community free Little Libraries.

Cost: The event is free and open to all members of the community!

Description: To participate, just pick up a kids volunteer packet at one of the listed Chesapeake Public Library branches and return the finished packet to the Library as described in the packet instructions. The recommended participant age range is 6 to 12 years old. We will also be collecting canned goods for the Foodbank of Southeastern VA, so bring a canned good to help those in our local community who need food assistance!
