D’Art Firsthand – Free Interactive Art Programs (February)

Free Art Programming for all ages is now available through D’Art Center in Norfolk! 

When:

  • First Thursdays of the month: 5:30-7:30pm
  • Second Saturdays of the month: 1-3pm

Where: D’Art Center, 740 Duke St, Norfolk, Virginia 23510

Cost: Free

Description: D’Art Firsthand: These free, interactive art events are held on the first Thursday evening and second Saturday afternoon of every month. Led by d’Art artists, Firsthand activities include workshops, hands-on make and take projects, artist lectures, and demonstrations.

First Thursday – February 6th, 2020 from 5:30 – 7:30pm

Paper Quill Valentines – (ADULTS ONLY) with Dana Johnson! Create a Valentine’s Day card with paper quills.  Come ready to roll paper strips into tiny shapes and glue them together into a creative design.

Second Saturday – February 8th, 2020 from 1:00-3:00pm

Hearts and Flowers – Create small, heart-shaped boxes to decorate and craft flowers with the help of our mixed media artists! (Flowers can be used for the boxes or made individually)
