Seasonally each year in October ghosts of the Olde Towne Ghost Walk tell their tales of love, loss, murder and mayhem! Patrons are guided on a walking tour through the historic distric of Olde Towne, Portsmouth. At each haunted house visitors hear costumed actors retell the legends of ghostly visitations and things that go bump in the night! Olde Towne, Portsmouth is a 20-square block, 500 building area on the National Register of Historic Places. This tour is family friendly. It’s spooky, not scary. No one jumps out to scare you. Cameras are welcome. Houses are private properties and not open to the public. The ghosts of the Olde Towne Ghost Walk only appear once a year on the Friday before Halloween!

Ride the paddlewheel ferry between North Landing and High Street in Portsmouth and Harbor Park in Downtown Norfolk.

The Pokey Smokey II is a ride-able scale replica of the 1863 C.P. Huntington train. Rides given seasonally according to a set schedule (see website link) for a small fee.

This museum-on-the-tracks features a five-car train, with a 1910-era steam locomotive, two walk-through gallery mail cars, a dining car, antique Norfolk-Southern caboose, and a depot-style platform.

A collection of over 40 local artisans. Most items are handmade, but we also have some found treasures. We offer Arts and craft classes for children and adults. Children’s Classes are available as walkins anytime we are open. Adult classes are scheduled and listed on our Facebook page and website.
