10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse by Don Zolidis

It's the end of the world and hordes of rampaging zombies are about to kill you. What do you do? Try your hand at kung fu against the undead? What is Devised Theatre?

Devised Theatre is a collaborative process where YOU create the story! Through games, improvisation, and teamwork, you'll explore themes, develop characters, and build a unique performance from the ground up.

Look for ways to Engage your students Before your Student Matinee!

Virginia Stage Company is offering for the first time, a unique home educator class experience for students with an interest to learn unique and diverse theatre experiences, which will vary from show to show in Virginia Stage Company’s main stage season.

Check back at our website before opening of each of our productions to see what new and exciting opportunities will be available to engage and enrich your student’s experience before OR after sharing in our productions. Classes are primarily focused towards Home Educator Student Groups, but all are welcome to register!

Master Classes & Workshops

Local and national theatre professionals work both one-on-one and in a group setting with students, helping them hone their theatre skills. Topics and ages vary by session, providing a unique learning opportunity with each Master Class. Sessions are offered for students and adults.
