July 19 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Wildlife Storytime! Join us for reading, crafts and more. , Ages 3-8

July’s event will focus on shells. We will read a story, take a short nature walk to discover shells and make a craft using what we have found. This is a drop-in program, no registration is needed.

August’s event will focus on wetlands. We will read about the variety of animals that make the wetlands such an important and beneficial habitat. We will also do a craft, sing and dance!

This event will take place at the Visitor Center of Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, located at 4005 Sandpiper Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. The program itself is free but there is a $5.00/vehicle entrance fee to the wildlife refuge. America the Beautiful passes, such as the Military Pass or National Annual Pass, as well as the Federal Duck Stamp, cover the entrance fee. We look forward to seeing you soon!
