Little Theatre of Norfolk is proud to continue its initiative to amplify diverse voices. The
Intersection: The Sandra Bland Project, written and performed by Brittney S. Harris, will
headline a weekend of events with a staged reading. This solo-performance play is centered
around the life of Sandra Bland before her arrest and tragic death. The Intersection: The Sandra
Bland Project uplifts Bland’s legacy as we cultivate conversations around mental health and
social justice.

Little Theatre of Norfolk presents a weekend full of performances, a workshop, and
community-driven discussions. Witness performances by Brittney S. Harris, Teens With a
Purpose, and Denise Battle of Opera for Us. Workshops led by Erika E. Wade, founder of
Glenda’s Baby Productions, and panel discussions featuring local theater-makers redefining
