Taco Garden Container Workshop for Kids at McDonald Garden Center (Virginia Beach)
May 17 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
$2Taco ’bout a good time, let’s grow a garden full of flavor! Join us for a fun and flavorful Taco Garden Container Workshop designed just for kids. In this hands-on workshop, kids will learn the basics of planting and caring for taco plants: oregano, cilantro, and a cherry tomato. Guided by our Green Team, young gardeners will create their very own taco garden container to take home and grow.
After the planting fun, every participant will receive a festive taco-themed snack to celebrate their gardening success. Parental assistance is required to ensure everyone has a great time!
Cost is $20 and includes all supplies, instruction, and one taco-themed snack. Each child will receive an 8-inch plastic pot, soil, and the three featured plants to kick off their garden adventure. Registration is open in-store or online, spaces fill up fast! Walk-ins welcome while supplies last.
