Step Up to the Plate (Chesapeake)

This is a free clinic for boys and girls ages 6 to 12 who are interested in learning or improving their baseball/softball skills, including hitting, fielding, throwing, and baserunning. It will be held July 27 to 30, 2023, in the ballfields behind B.M. Williams Elementary School, 1100 N. Battlefield Boulevard.

Schedule

Thursday, July 27, and Friday, July 28, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 
Baseball Drills with a lunch break from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. Snacks and lunches will be provided.

Saturday, July 29, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Exhibition games showcasing the participants.

Sunday, July 30, 4:00 p.m.
Norfolk Tides game. Tickets will be provided for participants and families.

Transportation will be provided from the Godwin Community Center. Please note this request when registering.

To reserve a spot for your child, complete the online Baseball Clinic 2023 registration form by June 15. The clinic is limited to the first 60 registrants.
