Spring Kayaking at New Quarter Park (York County)

CLINICS – Join us for special kayak clinics to help get you prepared to be on the water! These clinics are designed for individuals who have never kayaked or feel rusty in their kayaking skills. You will learn how to use the kayak and its equipment and basic paddling to move through the water. Pre-registration is required for each clinic as space is limited.
SUNSET TOUR-NEW QUARTER PARK – Join us for a fun evening on the water, looking out over Queen’s Creek as the sunsets. Participants will meet at the main office at New Quarter Park an hour and a half before sunset.
All kayak trips start with an introduction to kayaking and a short safety/paddling demonstration, followed by a sunset excursion. This trip is for beginners, families, and outdoor enthusiasts. All kayaks are designed for single riders only. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a hat, and bug spray.
*Participants must be at least 13 years old (13-17 must be accompanied by a legal guardian).
**The fee covers the paddle, kayak, life jacket, whistle, and waterproof phone pouch.
***Registration closes 7 days before the trip.
