Southeast Virginia Hokie BugFest at Lumberjack FestEvent (Franklin)

$2 – $12On Saturday, May 3, from 10 AM – 2 PM, 133 South Street, Franklin, VA 23851, will transform into an action-packed destination for all ages, offering STEAM activities that celebrate the fascinating world of insects along with the Lumberjack FestEvent activities and show. Admission to Southeast Hokie BugFest is included in admission to the Franklin Lumberjack FestEvent, $5 adult, $2 grades k-12.
Explore fascinating insect specimens and craft bug-inspired creations while learning about the amazing bugs of Southeast Virginia from various exhibitors.
Extension Agents will be on-hand to answer questions from Chesapeake, Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Isle of Wight County, & Southampton County. Virginia Cooperative Extension agents, specialists, and volunteers work to assist farmers, empower youth, guide responsible resource management, and implement research that advances the wellbeing of all Virginians.
