Relay For Life Peninsula VA at Port Warwick (Newport News)

The American Cancer Society is a nonprofit dedicated to ending cancer as we know it, for EVERYONE.
We are hosting Relay For Life of Peninsula on Saturday, May 17th at Port Warwick’s beautiful Styron Square in Newport News from 5-9 PM. This event brings the community together to honor cancer survivors, remember loved ones and recognize their caretakers.
We will have a lap around the track honoring first responders and medical professionals.
Plus, since it is the 40th anniversary of the first Relay For Life, we will be dressed like it’s 1985! There will be local food trucks, music by DJ Peep, Slack Dog Po, and 80’s cover band The Detonators, and a moving luminaria ceremony.
Proceeds go towards cancer research, advocacy efforts, and patient support services: including rides to appointments and housing at treatment centers. More information is available online at relayforlife.org/PenVA
