Recharge Respite Care (Virginia Beach)

Parenting a child with special needs is challenging and complicated. It’s not easy to find a babysitter when you need to get away. As parents continually sacrifice sleep, their social lives, self-care, and so much more for their children, they often end up feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and isolated.
That’s where the Hope Haven Recharge Respite Care Program steps in. At each respite event, we meet each child’s needs and celebrate their unique personalities!
Recharge Respite Care is a day camp for kids with special needs. We provide each child with a buddy that the spend the day with. They will participate in fun activities such as art and crafts, a bible story, reading centers, and toy centers.
