Spend a night with your friends, poetry, and free pizza. Share your own poetry or applaud someone else’s work. This event is hosted by Kween Yakini, with special thanks to Ritas Pizza Sharran C. Taylor, also known as the performing artist Kween Yakini, is a published author, a poet, a spoken word artist, a craft jewelry seller, and she is also the new host of Poetry, Prose and Pizza Open Mic. This free open mic has been hosted at the library for the past 15 years and now the torch has been passed on to Kween!
