Parks After Dark at Williams Farm Park (Virginia Beach)

Join us at Williams Farm Park for Parks After Dark, a new free community event held Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 6:00 – 11:00 pm, on most weekends through the summer. The first event will be on June 8 and will include arts and crafts, fun and games like kickball, cornhole, lawn darts and dodgeball, bounce houses, live music, movies in the park and free food trucks. 

Brighten the night at Parks After Dark! We’re flipping the switch and lighting up the night with free, family fun after the sun goes down at Williams Farm Park. Bring your family and friends for summer nights filled with FREE recreational activities, entertainment, and more!
 
June 8 – August 26 | Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays
6 – 11 pm
EXCLUDING June 22-24 & June 29-July 1
 Drop-in sports tournaments: Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Softball
 Retro Yard Games: Capture the flag, kickball, tug of war, cornhole, lawn darts, lawn golf, dodgeball
 Arts and Crafts
 Free Food Trucks (while supplies last)
 Bounce houses
 Outdoor movies
 Local resources and employment opportunities

Parks After Dark is a key component of a comprehensive strategy of the Mayor’s Youth Violence Prevention Task Force. Fostering a safe and enriching shared environment for the entire family, Parks After Dark invites the community to engage in recreational programming, sports activities, food, local resources and employment opportunities to encourage healthy living and support positive youth and family experiences.
